Will Oldham first heard Kevin Coyne and Dagmar Krause’s BABBLE record from friends Rich Schuler (the original drummer for Louisville’s King Kong). He became engrossed and enchanted, maybe a little obsessed, to the point where he began to envision covering the entire record from beginning to end. Faun Fables have been bouncing around across the continental US (with some dates in Denmark too!) since May, playing shows in towns large and small with the three little faunlings in tow.
