The Styrenes started back in the prepubescent punk era (the mid-1970s) and never really went away until just recently. The two tunes here were recorded a couple years ago, and reflect in their epic scope a rapier wit and sharp social commentary while all the while sounding utterly (and wearily) in earnest.
