Ruefully emoting from the confines of her introvert’s heart on "Nothing Comes Around", Edith traverses the frozen tundras of inertia that she encountered entirely too often during her isolation. At turns frustrated, resigned and afraid, Edith builds strength with her voice, guiding us through a richly imagined landscape as the song builds. As she sings the line "I waste my time/And leave 'em wondering/Whatever happened to my world", chambers of claustrophobic space explode open and passages of free fall are stilled by surreal billows of resistance.
