POWER TO THE P(EU)OPLE

posted February 15th, 2023

Some bands just play a few gigs here and there, while others embrace their civic duty to bring the music to the masses, night after night! No Age, with their insatiable desire to elevate folks beyond the clouds of despair and disillusionment with a conceptual allegiance to the idea of People Helping People, land squarely in the latter category. With a U.S. run already under their belts, Dean and Randy now set their sights to the U.K. and Europe to further spread the gospel of re-imagined rippers and textural sound experimentation, guaranteed to quench the thirst of all rock-curious people, borders be damned!

To celebrate what is sure to be the international touring event of the year, visual artist and fellow road dog Joel Kyack assembled a new music vid for "Plastic (You Want It)", a soon-to-be No Age classic, as a celebratory send off before their first stop in Belgium.

He says: "While opening for No Age on tour for two weeks this past fall I started thinking about intimacy and audience. How being in the audience night after night created a strange intimacy that left me feeling singularly unique amongst audience members and connected to the band particularly.. I'm interested in ideas of mediation and representation, so I started poking around at how an "audience" was represented in the world of stock footage and massive concert videos like Billy Joel live from Madison Square Garden."

Constantly responding to their own streams of consciousness and challenging themselves to evolve within them, No Age currently sit at the height of their powers as an organic, musical entity. It's a vibe you can't afford to miss - grab your tickets before they're gone!
