It's a damn beautiful world out there.

posted April 15th, 2020

To help take even the tiniest edge off during these isolated times, we've asked our amazing arists if there's anything they wanna share, shout about, rave up, or simply give fans while we're all holed up in our bunkers. Today we have a succinct, touching missive from Haley Fohr of Jackie Lynn, who wrote to us overnight from an undisclosed hideout spot in Chicago. She's also whipped up a Spotify playlist for us to kick it back and groove with, Quartz n tea. Read on and hit the play button!

"Hi, Haley from Jackie Lynn reporting -

April 14, 2020 - 10:02 PM, Chicago, IL

34 days of "you know what".

We have changed all of our light bulbs to orange.
the slight window breeze has been replaced with plants dancing to the groove.

Financial ruin has always been a past life of mine, but folks lifted me upright, into position, over time. It's hard on my mind, but the orange light bulbs help! It's such a privilege to be healthy. It's a damn beautiful world out there.

The mask - you may have noticed...

Jackie Lynn is omnipresent with the face mask. This was initially intentioned to bring light to identity tropes + climate change. Its new subcontext of isolation + suffering is in contrast to J.L.'s pursuit of tog-eth-er-ness. Thus, the mask will soon be retired from her mythology ((upon our emergence into the new world)).

We love you. we miss you."
