THE FUTURE OF I MADE A PLACE: 320 KPS OF ETERNAL GLORY

posted January 31st, 2020

Bonnie "Prince" Billy is a man who is destined to sing a darkness for the rest of time - but not now. Not today. For I Made a Place, his first album of new songs since 2011, he is bringing the lightness to new and next-generations, as well as longtime friends and fans. It's a message we dearly need. With an all-Louisville band bringing the musical space for our 'Prince' to be as spare or as expansive as is his 'royal' need, Bonny draws inspiration from a world-spanning set of musics, aiming to lift us up with songs that inspire, inform, lend confidence and bring warmth to assailed tribes everywhere. In the spirit of the here and the now,  I Made A Place was dispatched to physical retailers on November 15th, allowing listeners to consume the album as a traditional entertainment in one uninterrupted setting (well - two, for vinyl and cassette consumers). Now, at the end of the first month in 2020, we have delivered you Bonnie's newfound musical joy on free-mium services, the hear and now of music entertainment. And perhaps the future? We can only wait and see.

Happy (2nd!) release day to you and yours; enjoy I Made A Place on your favorite streaming platform...today!
