Premiering on Juxtapoz this morning, the video for "Forever Chained" indeed juxtaposes a brave new world upon the soul while deadening aspects of our unlucky old one. Using stunning, stop-motion claymation, the wonders of the natural world spring forth throughout "Forever Chained", as creatures of the wild parade around an ever-shifting array of seductive color. Cycling through growth, evolution, decay and destruction, with pharmaceuticals materializing from all matter, even humans make appearances to vomit endless links of chain and bile. What's a creature to do, other than strive to survive? Tim's assured songwriting hand drives "Forever Chained" with winsome pop power, guaranteed to hook itself deep inside your mind until you're addicted.
