Soccer Club Club presents PACIFIC, a trio of extra-large landscapes by Becca Mann. Worked in oil over highly pigmented flashé grounds, the paintings are experiments in affective color reaction, designed to subtly alter the state of mind of the viewer. Dynamic, elemental landscape forms from the Pacific region are paired with the disruptive chroma of their light situations to evoke a series of moods.

The opening reception will feature a musical performance by David Grubbs.

Becca Mann (b. 1980, lives and works in Los Angeles, CA) received her BFA and BAVCS from School Of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2003. This is her second solo exhibition at Soccer Club Club.
