Dawn, Nils and the family troop are out on tour right this very second, making haunting, folk-ish music fun again- they may have recently played your American hometown, they've definitely just played in Poland, and they're still coming down the road! Now that should be reason enough to get off your ass and shake it (your sunbonnet, we mean) to a participating venue near you, but just in case you're not totally convinced (what are you, some bozo?! Of course not, you're a wonderful person, full of life and supportive of the arts), then we've got a surprise for you! From today forward, Faun Fables' merch table will be equipped with a brand new cassette of archival music! Traveller Returning is a compilation of primitive Dawn McCarthy songs, circa 1997-2000, solo and exploring, in transition and traveling, setting up the bedrock that has grown into Faun Fables. Fear not, the cassette won't be limited as a tour-only item, it's got an official release date- August 25th- and you can preorder it, now!
