Six Organs of Admittance seldom provides the expected. Rather, it's safest to expect a deviation from all previous encounters whenever discussing a new album from Ben Chasny's blast of a band. Slight of hand, a prankster? Not all the time. Perhaps not even that often - dude is straight up with what he's doing, he just has the ability to cut it at such a rate, and with careful tangent that it blurs in the common eye. And sometimes, it's just that his gnarly tone one-ups others you've heard- and that's on YOU, buddy. Dig DEEPER. This is certainly the case with the forthcoming Hexadic album. Sure, you've been made aware of the Hexadic System Chasny created and utilized to make the music that is also Hexadic.. oh, wait - you haven't? Well shit, aren't you in the luck! Mr. Six Organs spent a chunk of his Sunday on BBC6 Radio's Freak Zone, explaining just that! It's essential listening for those inclined towards systems, occult, theory, and of course, most importantly... amazing music. Hexaxic is, to put it mildly, a wild ride, with nary a seatbelt to be found. The Hexadic System provided the parameters within which Six Organs applied the detonating tonality of his guitar assault, on full display in lead track, "Wax Chance". Hexadic arrives on February 17th and Six Organs burn tour rubber two days later, beginning on the West Coast. February is gonna be hotter than ol' Hades!
