Way back in October (if you can remember), Elisa Ambrogio advanced her new (and exciting!) solo voice with her debut album, The Immoralist. After a decade in the ranks of Magik Markers, Elisa's props in the avant/noise-rock field are well-established - but those formidable sounds act as prelude only for her new songs, which wed her dazzlingly out guitar playing with a hazy pop sensibility. A little after the album's release, Elisa set out on a run of dates in the Northeast - virtually in her own backyard! And while New York's alright if you like saxophones, there's a big, great world out there that needs to experience The Immoralist as only Elisa can bring it to them LIVE! Thus, her show is set to go on the road again in January, down south and through the Bible Belt and whatever other loops she can find out there. In the New Year, Elisa's prepared to bring her refreshing immorality to the hearts, minds and spirits of clarinet queens everywhere with subtly crafted ballads and unexpected explosions of cacophony, along with a few giggle-worthy between-song comments from time to time. And there's more dates coming! So stop all the clocks and drop your stupid moral hang-ups and get to these shows!
