December may be nature's way of telling us, 'soon we'll freeze,' but fear not - Blues Control continue to bring the heat and the light to you throughout the winter! "Fresh" off a tour with Six Organs of Admittance to close out the year of our Mayan calendar, 2012, the do-oh are set to hit the road again over on the other side - 2013 (yes, it is happening)- supporting their socks-knocked-offering Valley Tangents album through January, February and March across these ol' United States (with a li'l layover in Seoul). 'Sif wasn't enough to re-stock your stuffings, BC stopped by the Drag City HQ recently for a taping of the second-ever "Steam Room Session," a.k.a. Drag City Limits, for a little intimate live jam -- after all, it starts gettin' frigid in Chi-town this time of year, so what better to do than cram you and all your shit and your co-player into a space the size of a doorway to ride it on out? We see it every day around here. While the Velvets had their White Light/White Heat, here you'll witness Blues Control boast Colored Light/Weird Heat, or as they like to call it, "Iron Pigs." The point is, check out the steamy footage, and check them out on tour, where they'll either sizzle your soul, warm your heart, or melt your face!
