Laetitia Sadier kicks off her North American Silencio tour this weekend in Chicago. For a gal often singing politik, it's kinda fitting she kicks things off in Chicago, what with all the striking teachers currently chanting, protesting, and getting it on in the street. Drummer James Elkington (a Chi-home grown expat in his own right) and bassist Julien Gasc round out the first actual band Laetitia's every toured with in a solo capacity, so things are gonna get HEAVY. Heavier, anyway, than the tour she played as a solo. These guys are going to bring rhythm to Mme. Sadier's resourceful solo aresenal - so expect this to be the ding-dang-dong biggest sound you've heard from her since the days of the 'Lab.

But wait, there's more! Hands off the new tab! “Find Me The Pulse Of The Universe,” the lead single from Silencio, has just been immortalized in video form. Is that Laetitia scrawling numbers on a whiteboard and dancing amidst a host of geometric shapes? 'tis! HAWT. If the Chicago teachers continue to strike, Laetitia might have to stick around to show these public school kids a thing or two, especially since DLR's saggy ass can't hold his chaps no more and Eddie VH's gut-xplosion will keep him off the cat walk indefinitely.
