It's magical, this thing we call summer; in February, streetwalking without draping ourselves in layers of animal skins and furs was merely a dream-like memory from some distant planet where people comfortably stood in tandem with nature, with toned skin and sun-kissed hair kindly coexisting with gentle warmth and light breezes. That meteorological oasis is nowhere to be found in present-day Chicago, but perhaps the spell of Mira Billotte and her White Magic will shroud us with an aural sense of it this Saturday, July 21st, with their first Chi-town shindig in what feels like eons, at The Burlington. What the hell, it's gonna be the shit regardless of the forecast, cause no one sounds like White Magic and no one has the pipes like Mira. Can't get tickets ahead of time, but you can show up early! The Burlington has a relatively clean sidewalk just perfect for camping out overnight, drinking your fave magic malted beverage, and pissing yourself - with excitement, of course!- for the chance to see White Magic live. That's no apparition, grab your cloak and/or dagger and see you there!
