Ghost: An Update From Japan

posted March 18th, 2011

For all concerned, and all that should be:

On March 11, at 2:46pm, the biggest earthquake (magnitude 9) in our observed history struck off the coast of Sanriku. The subsequent tsunami and fire has damaged people enormously.

Dead: 4,957 Missing: 15,220 Refugees: 523,288

Immediately following the Tsunami, the nuclear power plant in Fukushima suddenly stopped working properly. The ECCM (emergency core cooling system) didn't operate properly as a result of the immense damage. Now, 4 nuclear reactors in the northwest are seriously damaged by high pressure inside of vessels. They've each experienced dangerous explosions one-by-one, day-by-day. Within a 60km radius of the Fukushima nuclear plants, "MEXT" (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) observed that the level of radioactivity is currently 400 times greater than normal! People living within a 20 Km radius of the plant were evacuated forcibly. People living within 30 km are highly recommended to escape. This is the true crisis.

Please donate for Japanese refugees right now. But please find foundation you can trust in your country, like this one. In stricken areas, it's snowing still. People need help!
