It's been a few years since Bert Jansch's Black Swan tour brought him back in touch with audiences around America. We were hoping to get him over here following the reissues of LA Turnaround, Santa Barbara Honeymoon, and A Rare Conundrum last summer, but health issues prevented him coming at that time. Now however, health issues are allowing him to tour, which is good news. Even better news is the timing of Bert's tour - coinciding exactly with the start of Neil Young's tour May 18th in Albany, NY and ending June 7th in Dallas, TX. Yes, Bert Jansch will be opening for Neil Young all down the eastern seaboard and into the south this spring. But that's not where it ends - Bert then heads west, for a run down the coast, with Mrs. Pegi Young opening the shows! After that, Bert heads to Chicago for another solo show, and then an appearance at Eric Clapton's prestigious Crossroads Guitar Festival at Toyota Park on July 26. Whotta summer tour!
