Eiko Ishibashi's new album, Antigone, is nearly here! Eiko and her band approach pop, funk, jazz, ambient and electronic zones on this extraordinary new work, mapping out an altered-reality odyssey as the listener traverses through Eiko's mind. Today, Eiko prepares to unveil Antigone with a new music video for "Mona Lisa" directed by Hitoshi Omika.

A collaboration between visual artist Lucinda Schreiber and author/writer/parent Jay Ruttenberg, it's a story that speaks to one of the greatest silent majorities in the world: all the kids who feel a little different.

The first single, "Reflexion," releases today with a music video.

ENTER MIKE'S WORLD

posted March 10th, 2025

In a manner befitting the everyday otherworldliness of Michael Smith’s work, I was 13 when I first stumbled on his work through Public TV’s Image Union. His “Secret Horror” was a hilarious, deadpan and appropriately unflinching look into the abyss. This superimposition of states had a profound impact on my life and work, to this day. This box set is the doorway into that world, Mike’s World, that will throw you for a loop, wild-eyed and helpless.
